I Am Legend
***Caution: Spoiler Alert!***
I thought that the alternate ending was superior to the theatrical ending. It just spoke more to me and much of the movie alluded to THAT ending. You know, the butterfly thing and the moral of doing whatever it takes for a loved one. Other than that, it wasn't like an M. Night Shamaylan movie whereas the ending changes the whole movie - for better or worse.
Take "The Village" for example. That horrible ending made the movie horrible. The movie kept me interested up until the end and by then the movie was totally ruined.

Ah, M. Night has turned into a wanker! See? I could visit Scotland and mix in just fine! No, I haven't seen that load of mince. I stopped caring after "The Village".
